This is an original story written by me for a unit of work around the theme of dragons. I have divided the story into a 16 page “picture” style book, so a section of the story is on each page. To truly make this book a picture book, the words need illustrations. I have found that students enjoy adding their own illustrations to a story because they are able to let their imaginations flourish and the story takes on a deeper meaning. Younger children enjoy having the story read to them and discussing the illustrations.
