This design and technology lesson gives students the opportunity to practise their cutting and gluing skills while they create their own home design.
This resource includes two pages of shape templates and a lesson plan aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
Students are given the shape templates and are asked to cut out the shapes of their choice to design a home. They are also encouraged to discuss their home design and consider the needs of families when planning their design. The shape templates come in black and white and once glued into place students can colour them in and add further details to their design.
