A parachute dance to the song Pompeii by the band Bastille with a focus on The Arts Curriculum - Music and Dance. Also links to History Curriculum. This is a lesson plan that goes into detail on how to teach the dance with basic steps, arrangment ideas, preformance ideas and ways in which to meet the Australian Curriculum Cross Curricular Priotities by linking to other subjects such as History, Science, Visual Arts etc. Can be taught as a single lesson or used as a unit of work depending on the age level of the students, time restraints and interest. This lesson plan can be used with Foundation and up but may need to be modified by the teacher to suit the students.
