Brief Statement & Additional Information:

My passion has always been to discover and develop child centred approaches to learning based on the latest research. To this end I have travelled as far afield as New Zealand. Maths has been a particular focus given so many children, and parents, find it a difficult subject. It is my belief that to be truly effective learning has to be both challenging and fun. Years of practical research have supported the development of the math programs that have been warmly received by parents, teachers and most importantly children.

Drama is also a subject I enjoy as it helps develop literary skills, builds confidence and promotes self esteem. I am also an author and one of my books has been adapted and staged in Manhattan, New York City.
