Classroom Rules Pack Created by - Leticha Hoopert This 37 page resource is a set of different classroom posters for classroom management. There are various sets of classroom rules posters for whole class, group work, carpet time and timeout. There are posters for all different age group classrooms. There are 8 different sets of posters. Its an essentail pack for primary school teachers.
The first set of classroom rules posters is a set of 8 posters. They are based around the general expectations you have in the classroom. They are simple rules however, very effective and to the point. They are best used in years 1 – 4 classrooms although could be used in all primary years classrooms.
The second set of classroom rules posters is a set of 8 posters. They are similar to the first set however silently different and simpler. They are best used in years 1 – 2 classrooms although could be used in all primary years classrooms.
The second set of classroom rules posters is a set of 5 posters. This set is aimed at the older year’s classrooms, ears 4 – 7. They are based around the general rules focused on in the older years as these students should already have the basic rules such as following directions etc. These are for the more mature student.
The next two classroom rules posters are a set of 2 individual posters. These posters are based around general classroom rules. The first one is very comprehensive and the second one is a simplified version. They are best to be printed on a large poster and displayed.
The next set of posters is for Carpet Rules. It is a set of 6 posters. They provide reminders for students of how they are expected to behave when they are sitting on the carpet. I usually use the first 3 only, the NO! posters. These worked fantastic in my classroom.
The next lot of classroom posters is a set of 3. I used these in a prep/1 classroom to teach listening skills. They are super simple and based around, STOP, LOOK & LISTEN to begin the learning process for listening.
The next is a set of 2 posters. These posters are for use at a time out desk or area in your classroom. When students go to that section they are faced with a series of questions that make them reflect on their behaviour. Student reflection is critical in behaviour management. The other poster then sets them on a reflection and consequence task. Students know that this is the first, and hopefully the only step in their consequence.
The last is a single poster based on Respect. Respect for self, others, school and property.
