Students study a variety of speeches: (Braveheart's 'Freedom' speech; St Crispin's Day speech from Henry V; Churchill's 'Their Finest Hour' and 'Fight on the Beaches' speeches; Martin Luther King's 'I Have a Dream' speech, and Sojourner Truth's 'Ain't I A Woman?') Video clips of the speeches are accompanied by full texts. Materials for differentiation ensure that students of different abilities will be able to access the work.
