This resource consists of a syllable game with Australian Animals as the main focus and a recording sheet.
The colored animal cards are designed to print, laminate and cut.
Then they can be put together by the students. The have been made so that the words are in syllable parts which is also great practise with nonsense words. The start of each card has a picture of the animal so they know what the animal looks like.
The next task requires them to record how many syllables are in each of the words that they have made.
