Families
Families are made up of many different people who have different titles. This is a useful teaching resource when students are learning to name family members (mother, father, sister, brother, grandmother, grandfather, uncle, aunty, cousin, niece, nephew, son, daughter, etc.). On the cards I have also included the pronouns relevant to that family member.
There are many different uses for these family cards. I have asked students to make a story about a family, using the two related pronouns. They can be used to classify family members (adults/children, male/female, different generations, etc.). They are also helpful in learning to spell family vocabulary. Use the cards to help children talk about their own families and the activities they do with their families.
There are twenty-eight eye-catching cards in this set, simply print & laminate the seven pages then cut out. Three student worksheets and a poster are also included.
