Sea animals, people and objects
This is a great card game for children who are learning about the theme 'Sea' or 'Oceans'. I have used this many times in various primary-aged ESL/EAL classes and the children find it very engaging. It is a fun and visual way to learn the vocabulary related to the sea and ocean.
To use, simply print the five A4 pages, laminate and cut out to produce twenty 'In the Ocean' Who am I? cards. There is a card for the following: narwhal, sunken treasure, fish, starfish, seahorse, seagull, anemone, shark, turtle, seaweed, diver, coral, crab, mermaid, seal, pearl, whale, dolphin, submarine and octopus. The information contained on the cards teaches some simple facts about these sea objects, people and animals.
Also included is an 'In the Ocean' poster and some worksheets for students of various age levels and abilities. There is a range of complexity in the sea worksheets, from very easy to more difficult.
