Practice to make up simple sentences using nouns, verbs and prepositions (in, on, to, behind, under) from the word bank.
The worksheets guide students through the process of choosing the correct words, mastering the sentence patterns, spelling patterns, the use of capital letters and full stops. The illustrations aid the choice of words to finish or write the sentences.
The activities start with simple sentences: I am... or She is... or He is...; This is a... and gradually progress to longer sentences using nouns, adjectives, prepositions and verbs.
The activities use both, phonic based words and frequently used sight words.
