Children are gradually introduced to the numbers 0 to 6. The activities are set out in sequential order, starting with the concept of one and progressing gradually to the concept of six. Children will learn to count to compare sets of objects and relate number to a set of objects by matching, joining, circling and drawing. The children are not required to write, they can concentrate entirely on counting and looking for the correct number to match with each set of objects.
