In simple sequential steps the students learn the basic skills of dividing a whole into equal parts. They will see and understand the relationship between halves and quarters, between quarters and eighths, between thirds and sixths, between fifths and tenths.
The activities will guide the student to recognise and understand the fraction patterns in both, the numerical and spatial form.
