The program provides learning experiences and assessment opportuniti
es for students who have difficulties in learning and recalling addition facts. Students are encouraged to use their own suitable computation methods to arrive at the correct answers.
There are number of Mental Computation strategies to be applied to addition problems; such as: adding on, doubles, near doubles, turnarounds, splits and pattern counting. Helpful addition strategies are included.
The use of 24 questions (problems) on each page makes the program compatible with the LUK self checking system. Each page has a grid with answers and a LUK code key.
