This package provides a SPRING SHORT VOWELS CVC LITERACY CENTER ACTIVITY SUITABLE FOR kindergarten to grade 2 students. This package offers SPRING FLOWERS CVC TASK STRIPS, ANSWER KEYS AND RECORDING SHEET and EVERYTHING IS DUPLICATED IN COLOUR AND BLACK/WHITE. These tools are suitable for kindergarten to grade 1 students.

The tools in this package are adaptable to be used in several ways:
option 1- use the CVC flower strips with recording sheet and cloth pins
Students name the picture word in the flower and use cloth pins to pin the leaves showing the beginning, middle and ending sounds in the CVC word. Then they record their word on their recording sheet
option 2- use the CVC flower strips with magnetic letters or letter tiles
Students use the leaves to identify and isolate the beginning, middle and ending sounds in the word and use magnetic letters to build the word on the actual flower strip
option 3- use the CVC flower strips with dry erase markers
Students circle the leaves showing the beginning, middle and ending sounds in the word and write the word right on the actual flower strip
