This package offers a Fall/Autumn themed math center activities for Kindergarten students.
This package contains a math turkey addition center that can be used during fall or if you cover thanksgiving in your curriculum. The tools in this package have been adapted to different levels of prep but they all need to be printed and prepared to some degree.
Here’s what’s included:
VERSION 1- TURKEY ADDITION WORK MATS
In this version, you print and laminate the work mats. You need to print, laminate and cut the feathers- Students match the feathers showing the equation that matches the sum shown on the turkey to give the turkey its feathers.
• 6 ADDITION MATS- Numbers 5,6,7,8,9,10 COLOR
• 6 ADDITION MATS-Numbers 5,6,7,8,9,10 Black/white
• Feather addition equations in color to match the mats
• Feather addition equations in black/white to match the mats
VERSION 2- TURKEY ADDITION- SINGLE TURKEY
In this version, you print and laminate the single turkeys. You need to print, laminate and cut the feathers- Students match the feathers showing the equation that matches the sum shown on the turkey to give the turkey its feathers. In this version, I usually attach a sticky back Velcro to each turkey but this is optional.
• 6 single turkeys showing numbers 5,6,7,8,9,10 in color
• 6 single turkeys showing numbers 5,6,7,8,9,10 in black/white
• Feathers to match the color turkeys
• Feathers to match the black/white turkeys
VERSION 3- TURKEY ADDITION-PIN THE EQUATION OR MATCH NUMBERS
In this version, you print and laminate the single turkeys. You need prepare cloth pins with the equations to match the sums on the turkeys by writing the equation directly on the cloth pin. Students pin the cloth pins which act as the turkey feathers. This version has been adapted to provide matching same numbers (see preview)
