This package provides a RHYMING WORDS PHONEMIC AWARENESS MAGNETIC FISH LITERACY ACTIVITY ACTIVITY COVERING 32 RHYMING PAIRS (CVC/CCVC) AND 28 RHYMING PAIRS (LONG VOWELS) and is SUITABLE FOR PRE-KG TO GRADE 1 students.
I use this fish rhyming activity as a small group and large group activity and I offered a detailed account on how I use these as well as some suggestions for other uses in the file. I start the school year with phonemic awareness activities before introducing actual letters and the first thing we start with is identifying rhyming words. This is a fun activity to reinforce the concept of rhymes and is a great addition to a sea life/ocean life thematic study unit,
There is prep required with these such as cutting and laminating and inserting a paper clip into each fish but my kiddos love this and it took me less than 45 minutes to complete the entire set.

(32) rhyming pairs of fish covering cvc/ccvc words
(28) rhyming pairs of fish covering long vowel words
I offered a list in the preview file for all the rhyming pairs so you can see the actual rhyming words included in this package.
Each set is duplicated to include a full color version, low color version and a black and white version
