When I teach a new letter each week, I do at least one cut and paste activity that relates directly to my letter of the week. Each week, I design a new art for the new letter we are learning.

1 Art template for "M is for Moose"
I use these as a CUT and PASTE activity in my literacy centers BUT you can use these template as models with construction paper or using 3D objects (construction paper, shredded tissue)
This tool contains the art templates themselves and pictures of the completed art projects with suggestions. Creativity in this type of art is expressed through the individual coloring/decorating of the art by the child.
This art reinforces the letter sound of letter M as well as fine motor skills (cutting, coloring) and independent work habits.
