Eyewords Activity Sheet outlines kinesthetic games and activities designed to supplement Eyewords Multisensory Sight Word Teaching Cards, Set #1, Words 1-50.
When children engage in active play, their attention and learning retention is high. Eyewords games are designed to make learning to read enjoyable, as young readers learn the high frequency words through the experiences of touching, moving, seeing and hearing. These play-based learning activities have been created to differentiate reading instruction for young and/or struggling readers. As a complement to phonemic instruction, Eyewords provides a multisensory - visual, auditory and kinesthetic approach to teaching the high frequency words.
