This resource has been designed to provide students with a template to learn about natural disasters. There are a range of resources used including; dictionaries, newspapers and scrap material. This assignment allows all students to fully participate and aims to engage a variety of learning styles, by including writing tasks with hands on construction.
This assignment allows for independent learning, however, it could also be modified to be taught lesson by lesson as a whole class.
Approximate length of time: 6-10 lessons.
