This resource has been designed to encourage students in middle school to think critically about their future. I use this resource in Term 4, just before they head off to high school. However, it could be used at any point throughout the year. The students interview their parents/ grandparents or relatives about their time in school, and the jobs they thought would exist when they left school. It then asks students to answer a series of questions about how they think the future may look. There is also a task that has students develop a possible transport system of the future, and to create goals they would like to achieve by the time they are 30. This resource comes with a quick assessment slip to mark the assignment. APPROXIMATE TIME: 6 - 10 LESSONS
