If you are like me, and struggle to get your class to clean up at the end of the lesson or the day, well look no further! Here is a printable that will make any class clean up quickly.
Simply print out, laminate and cut out, and put into a small box. At the end of a lesson or day, pull out the box, take off the lid, and ask students to line up. They take one 'clean up task' and follow the instructions. When they are finished, they can show you what they have cleaned or sorted, and put it in the finished pile or lid. If they finish quickly, they may choose another one or sit down at their desks.
I have never seen students clean up so quickly! This worked brilliantly when I was a non-instructional teacher and as a relief teacher, and also in the classroom. I have used it from years 2-7.
Included are 30 clean up tasks, with 10 spare for you to write on. Give it a try - what have you got to lose?!
