This pack has 10+ thinking tools and activities to help students gain a deeper understanding of what they read through analysing characters.
These tasks are based on Fountas and Pinnell thinking - WITHIN, BEYOND and ABOUT the text.
The tasks include thinking literally and making inferences. The tasks are based on reading and thinking and include some opportunities for students to draw.
These can be used as a focus for independent reading, guided reading or even whole class modelling. The tools come with and without instructions to for independent or supported use.
