In the “Added Picture Memory” worksheets, the student must identify which picture has been added from memory.

Visual Memory
Visual Memory is the ability to remember what is seen for immediate recall. It involves forming a mental image or picture of the characteristics of any given shape, object, symbol or word once the stimulus has been removed.
In the “Added Picture Memory” worksheets, the student must form a mental image of all the pictures in each block on the first page. In so doing, the student will be able to recall the pictures when they are no longer visible, and identify the additional picture in each block on the second page.
Figure Ground
Figure Ground perception is the ability to screen out any irrelevant visual material when presented with a lot of visual information at one time (to locate the important stimulus without getting confused by the background or surrounding images). This skill is key for good attention and concentration.
To form a mental image of each picture on the first page in the “Added Picture Memory” worksheets, the student must focus on one picture at time within the busy field of all the other pictures. On the second page, the student must pinpoint each of the pictures they recall seeing on the first page.
