Spatial Relationships perception is the ability to identify the position of two or more visual stimuli in relation to oneself and/or in relation to each other.
In the “Make Pictures the Same” worksheets, the student must identify the position of the parts in the picture that have been colored in black, by analyzing how the parts relate to each other.
Figure Ground
Figure Ground perception is the ability to screen out any irrelevant visual material when presented with a lot of visual information at one time (to locate the important stimulus without getting confused by the background or surrounding images). This skill is key for good attention and concentration.
To complete the “Make Pictures the Same” worksheets successfully, the student must pinpoint the corresponding parts to color in black in the picture on the right side.

Visual Discrimination is the ability to identify differences and similarities between shapes, symbols, objects or patterns, by analyzing their individual characteristics and distinctive features.
